22+ practice questions in Praczo
What you need to know
The concept, explained
- 1
Radians and degrees are two ways to measure angles. A full circle is 360° or 2π radians.
- 2
To convert degrees to radians, multiply by (π / 180).
- 3
To convert radians to degrees, multiply by (180 / π).
- 4
If you memorize that 180° = π radians, you can easily set up a proportion: (Degrees / 180) = (Radians / π).
Common mistakes
- ✗ Using the wrong conversion factor and accidentally multiplying by 180/π when trying to go from degrees to radians.
- ✗ Forgetting that answers in radians usually include π.
