Privacy Policy

Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Stripe — Praczo never stores your full credit card number. We may also collect your SAT baseline score and goal score if you choose to provide them during onboarding.

Information collected automatically

When you use Praczo, we automatically collect usage data including: questions answered, practice session results, test scores, time spent per session, concept mastery scores, and device and browser information. This data powers your personalized study plan and score prediction.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use the following strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Firebase Auth session cookie — keeps you logged in across page loads. Set by Firebase (Google) and expires when you sign out or after 1 hour of inactivity.
• Stripe session cookie — used by Stripe to secure your payment session during checkout. Set and managed entirely by Stripe.
• __vercel_live_token (development only) — used by Vercel during preview deployments. Not present in production.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from signing in or using Praczo.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Praczo platform
• Generate and update your personalized study plan and concept mastery map
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, trial reminders, billing receipts)
• Respond to your support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
• Analyze aggregate usage trends to improve the product

We do not sell your data

Praczo does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We share your information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as necessary to operate the service:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and database infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic — AI tutor responses (question content and your answers are sent to generate hints and explanations)
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery

Anthropic processes data under their own Privacy Policy. We do not send any information to Anthropic beyond the question text and your answer.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Praczo, our users, or the public.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records, which are retained for 7 years in accordance with tax law).

Practice data (questions answered, session records, mastery scores) is retained for the life of your account to power your study history and analytics. You may request deletion of this data at any time by contacting us at support@praczo.com.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — object to certain types of processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@praczo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Praczo is designed for high school students preparing for the SAT. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@praczo.com and we will delete it promptly.

For users between 13 and 18, we encourage parents or guardians to review this Privacy Policy and discuss it with their child.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you by email if the changes are material. Continued use of Praczo after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
